1. このサービスについて
「江戸に生まれたら」（以下「本ゲーム」）は、江戸時代を舞台にした見守り型のブラウザゲームです。史実をもとにしたフィクションであり、ゲーム上の仮定を含みます。
2. 利用
- 本ゲームは無料で利用できます。広告の表示や有料の追加要素はありません。
- 18歳未満の方も利用できます（暴力や性の直接的な描写はありません）。
- 利用者は、法令と、この規約に反しない範囲で利用してください。
- 本ゲームの動作に影響する行為（過度な自動アクセス、不正な送信、サーバーへの攻撃など）を禁止します。
3. 端末内の保存
遊んだ内容は、利用者のブラウザ（localStorage）に保存されます（過去の一生・設定など）。ブラウザのデータを消す、端末を変える、などで失われることがあります。運営者はこの保存内容を復元できません。
4. 一生の記録の送信（任意）
結末の画面で内容を表示し、利用者が「はい」を選んだ場合だけ、一生の記録が運営者のサーバーに送られます（既定は「いいえ」。同意は一生ごと）。内容と扱いは「プライバシーポリシー」に書きます。同意しなくても、ゲームは最後まで遊べます。保護者の同意が必要な年齢の方は、保護者と確認のうえで選んでください。
5. 投げ銭（任意）
運営を支援する外部サービス（日本語では OFUSE、日本語以外では Buy Me a Coffee）へのリンクを置いています。支援は任意で、対価はなく、支援の見返りとして、ゲーム上の特典・機能・優遇は提供しません。決済・返金・手数料は、各サービスの規約に従います。
6. 権利・二次利用
- ゲームのプログラム・文章・絵などの権利は運営者（または各権利者）に属します。
- 自由にできること: 個人の遊び画面のスクリーンショットの掲載、SNS での共有、配信（動画・ライブ）。
- 禁止すること: 場面の文章・データ（出来事・日常文・史実メモ）の、無断の転載・再配布・商用利用。
- ゲームの画像・コードは、許可なく再利用できません。
- 地図データなど第三者の素材は、それぞれのライセンスに従います。海岸線は『江戸末期海岸線／水域データセット』（ROIS-DS人文学オープンデータ共同利用センター作成、加工あり、CC BY 4.0）、藩庁の座標・藩名は Wikidata（CC0）と日本語版ウィキペディアの事実によります。
- 史実の出典として示す外部サイトの内容は、各サイトの権利者のものです。
7. AI の使用
調査・文章・コード・一部の素材の制作に AI を使用しています。内容は運営者が確認しています。
8. 免責
- 本ゲームは史実をもとにしたフィクションです。史実の記述は調査に基づきますが、ゲームの仮定を含み、正確性・完全性は保証しません。ゲームの結果は史実の統計ではありません。学習・研究の根拠としては、出典を直接ご確認ください。
- 本ゲームは現状のまま提供します。動作の継続、記録の保存を保証しません。
- 運営者は、本ゲームの利用により生じた損害について、故意または重大な過失がある場合を除き、責任を負いません。ただし、法令により免責できない場合は、その範囲で法令に従います。
- 外部サービス・リンク先の内容・動作について、運営者は責任を負いません。
9. 変更・終了
運営者は、この規約や本ゲームの内容を、予告なく変更し、または提供を停止・終了することがあります。重要な変更は、本ゲーム上で告知します。
10. 準拠法・管轄
この規約は日本法に従います。紛争が生じた場合は、運営者の所在地を管轄する裁判所を管轄裁判所とします。

1. About this service
"Born in Edo" (the "Game"; Japanese title 江戸に生まれたら) is a browser-based, hands-off life game set in the Edo period. It is fiction based on history and contains game assumptions.
2. Use
- The Game is free. It shows no ads and has no paid add-ons.
- People under 18 may use it (there is no direct depiction of violence or sex).
- Use it within the law and these Terms.
- Do not interfere with the Game's operation (excessive automated access, forged submissions, attacks on the server, etc.).
3. Storage on your device
Your play data (past lives, settings, etc.) is stored in your browser (localStorage). It can be lost if you clear browser data or change devices. The operator cannot restore it.
4. Sending a life record (optional)
On the ending screen, the content is shown, and a record of the life is sent to the operator's server only if you choose "Yes" (the default is "No"; consent is given per life). See the Privacy Policy. The Game can be played to the end without consenting. If you are of an age that requires parental consent, please decide together with your parent or guardian.
5. Tips (optional)
We link to external services (OFUSE for Japanese, Buy Me a Coffee for other languages) where you may support the operator. Support is voluntary, and nothing is given in return: no in-game benefit, feature or preferential treatment. Payment, refunds and fees follow each service's own terms.
6. Rights and reuse
- Rights in the program, text and artwork belong to the operator (or respective rights holders).
- Allowed freely: posting screenshots of your own play, sharing on social media, and streaming (video or live).
- Not allowed: reposting, redistributing or commercially using the scene text and data (events, daily-life text, historical notes) without permission.
- The Game's images and code may not be reused without permission.
- Third-party material follows its own license. The coastline is from the "Late Edo-period Coastline / Water Area Dataset" (created by the ROIS-DS Center for Open Data in the Humanities; modified; CC BY 4.0). Domain seat coordinates and names rely on Wikidata (CC0) and facts from Japanese Wikipedia.
- Content of external sites cited as sources belongs to their owners.
7. Use of AI
AI is used in research, writing, code and some of the assets. The operator reviews the content.
8. Disclaimer
- The Game is fiction based on history. Historical statements are based on research but include game assumptions, and accuracy and completeness are not guaranteed. Results in the Game are not historical statistics. For study or research, please check the sources directly.
- The Game is provided as is, with no guarantee of continued operation or preservation of records.
- The operator is not liable for damage arising from use of the Game, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Where the law does not allow such exclusion, the law applies to that extent.
- The operator is not responsible for the content or operation of external services and linked sites.
9. Changes and termination
The operator may change these Terms or the Game, or suspend or end the service, without prior notice. Important changes will be announced in the Game.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. In case of a dispute, the court with jurisdiction over the operator's location has jurisdiction.
